Stone walls have always fascinated me.Who built them, and how long ago…
Were the stones found that way, or were they hewn…
Why are they abandoned in the middle of the woods…
These are the questions I always have whenever I come across a long forgotten stone wall, kept secret in the woods somewhere.Walls make us feel safe.
Walls keep the elements out, and security in.
Walls announce where my property ends, and yours begins.Walls.
I have many walls in my life, as do most of us.
I wonder if my walls are beautiful and mysterious like these…
or are the formidable and impenetrable.I hope it’s the former.
